Travel Medicine

As dandan will be going to Boston, USA for 2 weeks for business trip and the weather there will be from 5°C - 20°C, I suggest to him to go get some medication from his doctor just in case he will fall sick or the food doesn't suit him and resulted in diarrhoea. So aft work, I tag along with him to Lorong Lew Lian where the clinic there is under his company medical group. The doctor is very friendly too! But a tad different from mine. His doctor makes jokes. Roll-eyes kind of joke. Haha! He told dandan as long as don't eat uncooked food, don't eat food that strangers offer to you, and dont stumble into the jungles half naked and get bitten by mosquitoes. Duh!

Reached back his house, began to help him to pack his luggage. His Samsonite luggage dimension is 115cm only. But to my surprise, i managed to fit in clothes for 1 week cos he will sent his clothes to laundry while he's there. And also, he will be carrying a bagpack to put his laptop and 1 set of spare clothings and important stuffs. Also, I've placed a bigass Longchamp bag (which can be folded to small size, kudos to longchamp!) into his luggage for him to stuff my presents and carry as an extra bag when he returns. But, although I really like Samsonite luggages cos they are quite sturdy, but sad to say dandan's one is not hard-cased. I've called my cousin to borrow her hard-case bigger luggage so dandan wouldnt have to bring the backpack and can carry a smaller and more convenient bag. So will be going over to her house on Thursday to view the luggage and see whether dandan wants to use it instead. I would prefer dandan to bring a hardcased luggage because it can prevent thiefs from cutting through your luggage. Say I'm kiasu and kiasee la, but prevention is needed before the crime is committed.

His medication box consists of all the medicine that the doctor gave, 6 bottles of 宝仔, 1 bottle of 风油 and 1 西瓜霜.

There are several other things need to buy also, like a new bottle of moisturiser for him, shampoo and facial wash. Although shampoo is available in the hotel's bathroom, but dandan can only use Oil control shampoo. He leaks too many oil out everyday. *Shudders* I'm so worried that his hair will fall out altogether!

Anyone got any tips for travelling to US or to cold countries? :D
