Rigid and Inflexible Colleague

Is it possible to have such rigid and inflexible colleague? YES! It is possible.

Frustration to the maximum! And the thing is, I gotta control my temper, anger, frustration and put on a mild face for her and speak in a mild controlled tone! I cannot really afford to flare my temper la, cos she is my only colleague and my boss's sister. But she really one-minded, inflexible, cannot multi-task and argh, AUNTIE!

And she always wanna put her foot in, into how I work, what I am doing at my workdesk and many more la. Stop hawking over me like an eagle. I'm her colleague, not her daughter and definitely I'm not working under her!!

Like just now when I was reading benson's blog, she sat cross-legged on her chair, used her hands to grab the table to pull herself and rolled over on the chair to view what I'm doing, point a finger at my monitor and ask,
Colleague: What is this ah?
Me: My brother's blog.
Colleague: You are free now is it? Can you help me find the name of the vessel from this book?
(Then proceed to dump the book on my table)
Me: Ok lo.

ARGH! If you want my help, just ask me whether I'm free anot and I will help you if I really am free. I'm always multi-tasking between my work and leisure stuff. So I really don't wanna waste time to look for the vessel name which you are unsure of how to spell it.
Me: Why don't you call up Jeffrey and ask him?
Colleague: Don't want la. Don't want to call him.
Me: Should call him ma. If not, find until dunno when also don't know the vessel's name. Ask him, he can provide exact alphabets for the vessel.
Colleague: You call him lo.
Me: Ok. Give me his number. Eh wait, might as well email to him. Easier.
Colleague: Ok. Ask for the JDN mail address also.

Then I rolleyes and proceed to email Jeffrey. Argh!!

Like now, how she wanted to make me change my format of the outlook express. Initially, we are using pop.mail account. Recently, we changed over to gmail.account and so there might be duplication of mail. She say it's confusing for her and she want me to delete the pop.mail account. Why should I delete for her when I'm using the computer from mon-fri except days when I'm on leave or MC? Why should I delete for her when she can retrieve the mails from her computer as well?! Why does she want to mess up my working style?!

I do not want to delete the pop.mail account is because I still wanna use it to work on my mails and send emails. My gmail.account is for me to back up my emails just in case my outlook express crashes, and I still can retrieve them from the web. Maybe I'm really doing double job, but hey, it's my working style and I'm used to working on pop.mail! So just shut up and do your accounts and go chase back all the bad debts la!

Sometimes I treat her nice and teach her some of the stuffs I know and she always want to act lihai and think that she knows tons more than me. Fine, I'm ok with it. Since you are older than me, so by right, you should know more than me. Or maybe I'm not really ok with it, if not, I will not be ranting here.

Anyway, I'm sure that after awhile, I will totally forget all about what had happened and I will be nice to her like before. I always does. And I don't know why.
